TalkIO 0.96 Help
----------------
TalkIO is an input/output interface for UnixTalk, the 'ntalk'-compatible
talk for acorn written by Marco Baye.
In short, it is responsible for grabbing the incoming chars off the socket,
displaying them in a split window, and putting the users keypresses back
onto the socket.
Simple enough, it also supports the three unix control codes 'Delete Char',
'Delete Word' and 'Delete Line', which are bound to Backspace/Delete, CTRL-W
and CTRL-U respectively.
Some extra features are available, if TalkIO is used on both sides of the
line, such as cursor key editing (which is in fact the only supported extra
at the moment :).
Other extras, which may be added later on:
- configurable control keys
- macros on function keys
- ... (feel free to contribute here)
I can be reached at ihorvath@zaphod.in.tu-clausthal.de (talk+mail),
whereas Marco (UnixTalk) is online with his RiscPC most of the time at
Marco@dionin.esw-heim.tu-clausthal.de (talk) or
Marco.Baye@tu-clausthal.de (mail).
